Gaston de Raousset, grandson of Léon Félissent, became Count of Raousset and was successful in his attempt to develop the estate. The first rewards for the Château de Raousset wine's quality date back to 1869, 1871 and 1889.
LOCATION
The Heirs of the Count of Raousset today exploits 12 hectares, divided into three appellations: Chiroubles, Fleurie, and Morgon. The Gamay noir is the only grape variety used in Beaujolais. The soil type perfectly suits this variety, producing three great Crus.
